Compression Settings
The compressor will automatically trade resolution and JPEG quality for file size.
100 KB is aggressive, particularly for PDFs with many pages.
Minimum 25 KB. Maximum 50,000 KB.
Grayscale can substantially reduce scanned-document size.
Resolution may be lowered further if necessary to reach the target.
This is what allows very small targets such as 100 KB. Text will no longer be selectable, and forms, links, signatures and other interactive PDF features will not be preserved.

Compressing PDF…
Everything runs locally in your browser — your PDF is never uploaded. The requested size is a target, not a guarantee: complex or multi-page documents may have a practical minimum larger than the selected size.
