Free browser-based network tools

Network tools for quick IP, DNS and connection checks

Check your public IP address, inspect DNS records, review HTTP headers, validate IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, and understand the basic connection details your browser exposes.

These direct links cover the network checks people usually need first. Keep the full automatic Thrive library below this section so new networking tools still appear as you publish them.

What you can do

  • Check your IP address: view your public IPv4 and IPv6 address as seen by websites
  • Inspect DNS: look up common record types (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT)
  • View connection details: see basic request and network information your browser exposes
  • Test IPv6 support: confirm whether your connection supports IPv6
  • Understand visibility: learn what parts of your connection are publicly exposed
  • Run quick checks: lightweight tools for fast answers, not full diagnostics

FAQ (quick answers)

  • Do you log or store my IP address?
Most tools run entirely in your browser. If a tool needs server processing (for example, DNS lookups), that’s clearly disclosed on the tool’s page.
  • Is my IP address private?
Your public IP is already visible to websites you visit. These tools show you what’s exposed—they don’t increase your visibility.
  • Why does my IP change sometimes?
IP addresses can change due to ISP policies, mobile networks, VPNs, or reconnecting your router. This is normal behavior.
  • Do you support IPv6?
Yes. If your connection supports IPv6, the IP tool will show it. If not, you’ll see IPv4 only.
  • Are these full diagnostic tools?
No. These are lightweight utilities for quick checks and visibility, not replacements for full network diagnostics.
  • Do I need an account or install anything?
No account, no installs. Everything runs in the browser, with no watermarks or tracking.
